The Year 5 and 6 Cross Country Team has continued their campaign in the Poole and East Dorset Cross County league and they are doing so well!

Published 21/10/16October was Black History Month. During this month each year group learnt about a different black personality, past or present. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to learn all about significant figures that have made a difference to our lives and the world we live in. The school produced some truly beautiful work ranging from biographies about Martin Luther King Jr. to Singing Three Little Birds by Bob Marley. Take a look at some of their work below!

On the 17th of October, we had an amazing experience; a Victorian Drama day with the Treehouse Theatre. Since we had been learning about the Victorians, we knew all the answers to the questions!

Thursday 13th October saw the first Poole and East Dorset Cross Country Competition of the year at Baiter Park in Poole. It was a perfect day for running and spectating!

Published 12/10/16On Wednesday 12th October, our Rugby Squad travelled over to Wimborne Rugby Club to play in the East Dorset School Games Qualifier. On arriving at the pitch we were greeted to the sight of some really tall students warming up on the pitch. However, this turned out to be the students from QE school who were refereeing our tournament, this was a great relief to some of the squad!
