Four weeks ago, Time Table Rock Stars (TT Rock Stars) landed in Lytchett Matravers Primary school. TT Rock Stars is an online game which encourages daily times tables practice.

Before half term our Rights Respecting Ambassadors opened a competition looking for our project playground logo. After much deliberation between our Ambassadors and Play leaders the winning logo has been chosen. .

On Monday 1stApril the Year 4 children were very excited to have their parents and carers coming into school for the afternoon. The purpose of the afternoon was to share with the parents and carers all the amazing work the children have done throughout this term on their topic, ‘Ancient Egyptians’.

On Friday 29thMarch, twelve lucky LMPS children attended Springdale First School to take part in an exercise class hosted by Joe Wicks, the cookbook and exercise guru.
On Wednesday 27thMarch, the LMPS Netball Team attended the Level 3 High 5 Netball County Finals Tournament, representing East Dorset alongside Allenbourn Middle School.

Harold and the Life Education Van came to visit Lytchett Matravers Primary School. The Life Education Van is a charity that provides health, well-being and drug education to children aged 3-13 years.
On Monday 18thMarch the Year 4 children had the opportunity to take part in a young artists workshop organised by Purbeck Arts Week. Local artist Helen Biles inspired our children and showed them how to create sculptures out of wire.
This term our Student Voice chose to support ‘Comic Relief’ and as ever all the children at Lytchett Matravers did a great job.
25th February - 10th March... Every year our children produce incredible work surrounding Fairtrade and the importance of a fair wage.
